February Fun

Here are some things that happened this month:

VALENTINE'S DAY:
The kids all had Valentine's parties at school. Here's Kate with the Valentine's envelope she made at Joy School. She had fun reading all of the Valentine's she got from her friends. She also had fun making Valentine's this year. Give this girl some stickers and paper and she is happy!
PARTNERS IN LITERACY:
The elementary school that Josh and Jake go to has a really cool program for preschoolers. It's a story time combined with learning activities and some kind of art project or craft.. I've been able to take Kate a couple of times and she loves it. On this particular day, the story was The Princess and the Pea. She made the crown she is wearing and was very excited about it.

FOREST TURNS 11:
Forest turned 11 this month! He is growing up to be a smart, responsible boy! Although he is at him mom's right now we were able to celebrate with him while he was here for Christmas break. He requested a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. You can't ever go wrong with chocolate!
ROBB DOES THE DAYTONA 500:
Robb got to go to Florida for work this month. He was at the Daytona 500 and worked practically non-stop doing different TV segments for ESPN. It was a great experience for him and he enjoyed it. We missed him though! He was gone for 10 days and we were so excited when he got home. The kids and I wanted him to feel extra welcome when he got back so we made him these signs and had a special meal.
The kids made these signs and had a fun time doing it!

  3. I love Joy School. I did it with my kids. And happy birthday Forest. He was always one of my favorite primary kids.
