These Cats Rock!

Our family got to go to another Rock Cats game this summer. It was ESPN Family day so we got tickets through Robb's work. We had a yummy baseball game dinner: hamburgers and hot dogs and got to have a great time at the game.

One of the most exciting things for Kate whenever we go to a baseball game is getting to meet the mascots. On this particular night there were about a half dozen different mascots so Kate was totally excited. She is always ready to give a big hug to anyone that will let her.

Here she is when she first sees a mascot. He's making his way around the tables.

Kate when the mascot has made it to our table.

The kids with Rookie, the mascot.

Doing some "cool" handshakes with Rookie. You can tell by Kate's face that she has already spotted another mascot and he's coming over to our table! The kids with, Blooper.

More handshakes and hi-fives.

Yet another mascot. His name is Toner.
Next to the mascots, Kate's favorite thing about the baseball game is the Fun Zone. There are "bouncies" you can play on. This is like a complete paradise for Kate. Inevitably, during a portion of the game Robb or I will be out there with her. At this game it was my turn. Here are some pictures of her doing her thing:

...and back down.

Doing a flip down another slide.

Taking a much needed bounce break.

In the bounce house.
Kate with Blooper, who came to the bouncies, too!
We ran into Bald "E" on our way back to our seats.
Kate, of course, had to give him another hug.

We had a great time at the game. I love baseball! It's so fun to be able to go watch a game in person!
